We are very proud to be starting on another Historic Restoration on
building 427 at Ft Leavenworth, Kansas. And yes, this is on the outside
of the wall. We will be adding more information as we proceed.
-
We are undergoing restoration on some of the "CCC Buildings" (Civilian
Conservation Core from the 1930's) in Bastrop and Buescher State Parks.

The project we are very proud to announce is a
$400,000 Historical Restoration at
Camp Mabry.
The buildings are two 20,000 sq. ft. Barracks that were built around
1918. We will be producing
historically accurate doors and windows for the exterior, as well as
all of the interior woodwork. We expect to start manufacturing
in February, and hope to finish up by the end of the year.
Camp Mabry also houses the "Texas
Military Forces Museum".

The Austin Country Club is building a new
facility. It is the "Harvey Penick Golf School", and we are
manufacturing all the special wood doors. There will be a
large 11' tall x 20' wide Redwood exterior folding door unit that
will open the Lounge to the outside on nice days. There will
also be large "Barn Type" rolling doors for the golf carts and the
other rooms. For reference, Harvey Penick taught famous golfers
such as
Tom
Kite and
Ben Crenshaw. I invite you to view information on Harvey
Penick posted online at
Wikipedia.

Historic Restorations- "Susanna
Dickinson". This is a very Historic Project. We are
making all the Doors and Wood Windows for the Susanna Dickinson
House. She was the sole adult Anglo survivor of the Alamo.
Susanna was sent by Santa Anna to Sam Houston to tell of the
fall of the Alamo. In stead of running away, which is what
Santa Anna wanted, Sam Houston coined the phrase "Remember The
Alamo", and defeated Santa Anna at the San Jacinto River.
Thus, the birth of Texas truly started.
